Not my favorite gun, that's for sure. However, they shoot well, they're relatively inexpensive for a high-quality, durable and reliable gun. Parts are easy to find and drop right in. Everyone (almost) wants one so they're easy to sell. I have to admit I've owned several (maybe 20) over the years and only one was even remotely problematic. I own 5 now, 4 of them are Gen 2s...my favorite because I can't stand the finger grooves on later ones. Also have a Gen4 G21 and it's the most accurate Glock I've ever seen.
Bottom line? I think you could spend more money and not get as much gun. There's a lot to like about them but to me they're strictly utilitarian and I've never been really attached to one. They really don't have a soul...unlike a nice 1911 or an old S&W revolver.
