Mac OSX is my daily driver but I have dual booted Win10 on it as well, it's not bad. What is really annoying is that it auto installs stupid apps like Candy Crush Saga, say what you want about Apple they have never pulled shit like that.
That's a new one on me. I've never, ever, seen it install Candy Crush Saga. I know they've been advertising it. Are you sure you didn't click on a link?
I unpin the store, Edge, and Media Player from the taskbar whenever I upgrade. I also turn off anything that reports back information to 'improve performance', 'enhance my experience', or 'improve marketing', turn off Cortana, and change the default browser to IE11. I also pin Chrome and IE to the taskbar.
I pin IE to the Recycling Bin.
That's why you need to install the never10 app
Good read here for anyone that doubts MS slipped you the finger and did this to systems with ZERO user intervention.

I can't remember a time I've ever needed those programs, nite could I even identify them. I used to use an IE emulator in Chrome to access insurance websites when I was an agent.
Then again, I'm not what one would call a heavy user either.
I only use Windows 10 for Air Force sites that require IE and a few programs that only work on Windows. Here's an article explaining it.

I guess I missed those "...windows of time..." stated in the article. Just upgraded another system a few days ago and no Candy Crush Saga. I wonder if they're doing this to Windows 7 Home editions and not Pro or Ultimate?
