Found front half of cat on the sidewalk on the way to the train a couple of mornings ago. I figure a coyote lost it when running from someone.

I want to post the "Found, Half a Cat" on next door, but figured I'd get the popo called on me and accused of animal cruelty. I've not seen any lost cats matching it's description yet.

Someone has too much time on their hands....

I could only put up a sign for "FREE CA" since most of it was missing. Liberals would be all over that sign!

(all that was there - head and front legs) Torso/hind quarters were somewhere else or being pooped out by the coyote. But it also looked like someone could have *mutilated* it with a good knife. Another reason I didn't want to photo it or post it. My luck, I'll be the one investigated.

As of this morning, it was MIA. Not sure if someone called animal control to get it or wiley came back for left overs.

I like forums like this one, but I still can't imagine a neighborhood forum where everybody knows who you are and everyone blathers about their business and complaints about each other!

Yup, this. Spent my first few years of life in a small town in Oklahoma, and even after we moved to the big city, we would go back to visit family there. Talk about everybody knowing everybody else's business.... :rolleyes:

In a small town with not much going on, gossip is pretty much the national pastime. ;)

I don't know if this is stupid per se, but I found it funny. I believe what usually shakes the windows is the arty. The tanks shouldn't shake the windows (can still hear them), but depending on environmental conditions the 155's can be heard from quite a ways away.

First we have a lady advertising to sell duck eggs. I'm surprised some Nancy hasn't said anything about if her sales have been approved by the FDA. She initially put up a post asking about interest. She got a bunch of interest and a lot of people asked how much. After seeing her listed prices, I hope someone does narc on her. You can get 5 DOZEN eggs at Sam's club for under $4. Also, I've had some duck eggs from members on here and while they are delicious, they are certainly NOT twice as large as chicken eggs.
