    I like forums like this one, but I still can't imagine a neighborhood forum where everybody knows who you are and everyone blathers about their business and complaints about each other!

    Yup, this. Spent my first few years of life in a small town in Oklahoma, and even after we moved to the big city, we would go back to visit family there. Talk about everybody knowing everybody else's business....

    In a small town with not much going on, gossip is pretty much the national pastime.

    Growing up in rural FL, my parents knew things I'd done practically before I finished doing them lol.

    Funny, I grew up in Enid, OK. Not huge, but big enough to stay anonymous in.
