This strain of Ebola is different for a number of reasons. It seems to have a longer incubation period (5-14 days from exposure to onset of symptoms), and it also seems to have a longer burn cycle. It also managed to get into population centers, rather than the rural nature of previous outbreaks.
I won't lie, this shit worries me. This has the potential to be a civilization ender.
There is another sickness (enterovirus) going around now that is acting not like what is expected of a "common bug". Kinda makes you wonder how easy it would be to just have someone get sick (who normally would strap some nails and explosives to themselves) and tour the world or US for as long as they would let him/her sneezing on anything and anything that gets close.Quote:
