Obama's presidency will be a Godsend of disheartening disappointment to his brain-dead, idealist followers. Once his policies are implemented, people will not just see how socialism is a bane of hopeless failure, but they will FEEL it, and UNDERSTAND it.
I think Obama's rule over this country will be our deliverance to a Palin '12 candidacy. All of those mentally retarded punks who put him in office will come to terms with the fact that Obama is nothing but a shit-stain blight of an empty suit.

It does not surprise me at all that he won.
When you have the majority of teachers pushing a liberal agenda for years.

When you have all the entertainment young adults watch, and all these stars pushing the agenda.
When you have an ever increasing amount of people looking for a hand out or blaming someone else for their problems. It's no surprise these people will vote for the candidate who promises them the most "spoils" from their victory.
But what DOES surprise me, is the idiot fucking morons in this state voting for Udall. He lied about his record. If you believed what he was saying he was about you'd just about think he's conservative. Just doing a little research shows how deceitful he is. And morons of this state, trying to wash the taste of Bush out of their mouth voting for everything democrat put him in.
I will agree with the post above saying now people can see for themselves how badly the dems will screw up. People aren't smart enough anymore to understand things. Right now we have a dem controlled congress. And they only thing with lower scores then Bush is the dem controlled congress. And what the hell happened tonight? More Dems elected to congress and the senate.
People want to push everyone to vote. Get out the vote. How about you get these idiots educated on the issues and what's going on before you have them vote.

No I don't think most of the idiots who voted for the coming regime will come to their senses and realize what they've done to all of us. If they're easily led to the kind of "thinking" that allowed them to do what they've just done they will accept all of the excuses and diversions the regime will serve to them. Perhaps a few may experience enough remorse to come around and they should be welcomed.
Udall will bend us over the bollard just like the rest of his party - and the other party far too often - have been doing for some time now. It's time to find common cause with those who still believe in what the USA was founded upon. This should have been an election with a record turnout, but I don't think it was (I could be wrong). I'm sure every liberal made it to the polls, but I suspect far too many conservatives stayed home.
Then again, my second point counters my first. Either McCain never had a chance or apathetic conservatives gave it away... Even for a software engineer I make a pretty lousy political scientist.
This is the first time I've voted for a major party candidate since 1988 tho. And it kind of angers me that it was a total waste of effort. I just can't figure out who to be angry at. The hippies, I suppose.
