I go almost weekly with my family. Where do you go?
Oh yeah what/where is your spot?
Dim sum is yummy
Haven't ventured out to find any here in Denver yet but yes my wife and I love it!
There's a pretty good place in the Far East Center @ Alameda and Federal. I advise you carry if you go after dark....
I've been wanting to try it but have yet to.
The empress sea food at feral and Alameda is delicious.
super star asian
It's never occurred to me that there might be Dim Sum in Denver.
I haven't had that since I visited Chicago.
Totes thanks for this thread, guys.
Being introduced to Pho changed my life. Someone introduce me to this. Is there a place in the Tech Center?
If only knew some Asians on the board...
That might be the place some Chinese friends took us for Dim Sum. It was in an older shopping center with several Korean and Chinese shops and restaurants. Very busy with a long line to be served. My friends are from Hong Kong, and pretty particular about their Dim Sum, said there was one place much better than the others. Don't remember the name of the place but they had a great variety of foods.
My friends mentioned a restaurant in Broomfield that had good Dim Sum, too.
If you like family friendly sort of restaurant where they roll the bun and rapid steam them at your table, speed wrap your shu Mai and ha kao on the cart, or roll the egg in front of you.. This is the best place. It's kind of Benihana teppanyaki, but the cook doesn't speak Spanish.

Owner is from Hong Kong..but he forgot to bring the taste with him :)
I love Dim Sum but the only places I eat it are in SJC and Vegas. If there is a place around here that is good COUNT ME IN!
I've never found a Dim Sum restaurant in CO that makes truly authentic Cantonese Dim Sum. Hell, my wife and I order dim sum speaking Cantonese and the waitstaff gives us a deer in the headlights look. It's CO. You take what you can get.
I used to go to Super Star. I like Star Kitchen much better.
Theres a really good pho place at smith and havanna.
You guys are making me hungry. Can we please go to lunch now?
The only place I can go to that's here in CO is Super Star, then again I haven't really tried nailing down a go to place for dim sum.
6th & Peoria just east of Ace Hdwe. Not trying to correct kwando, but if unfamiliar with area, DM & Peoria may cause some head scratching.
Ate there last night. Also a huge fan of 79 (Mississippi & Havana) as jmetz mentioned.

P.S. I'm in for a Dim Sum get together [Beer]
Reading over what it is, I probably wouldn't be a fan of it.
You all have yellow fever!
