Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to meet him but I did enjoy and learn quite a bit from his articles and vids. Sad loss.

Awerbuck was a very early pioneer in a lot of tactical stuff, officer survival etc. A great is lost to us.
To echo what Mick & sp said; he is a loss to all of us, but may he RIP.
I have heard many great things of him; I'm sorry I did not meet, let alone get some training by, the "yoda".

Mr Awerbuck was an instructor I always *meant* to train with. Now that it's too late I'm sorry I didn't make the trip.

Louis was a great instructor and a true gentleman. I'm proud to have gotten to know him over the years and will miss the professional @ss chewing he could give in his classes. R.I.P. Yoda.
He will be missed for sure.
