Apparently a Flight for Life heli has broken down on top of Children's Hospital. The first crane they brought out wasn't tall enough, so I'm not sure what they are going to do now.

That's not good

Good thing it died after they landed.
Did they opt for a crane before a heli mechanic?

Do like we did on the carrier, push it over the side.

hmm thought it might be something exciting.
Not Flights, it was Airlink out of Scottsbluff, NE. Airlink is also the helicopter service out of Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
9News is still saying it is a Flight for Life helicopter when the video clearly show it as Airlink. Not every helicopter is Flight for Life. I am sure Flights likes it when the media assumes every helicopter is "Flight for Life", except when it is busted on the roof of a hospital.
In Colorado we have:
AirLife - Lone Tree, Hugo, Fredrick-Firestone, and Cheyenne
AirLink - Loveland
Classic Lifeguard - Steamboat Springs
REACH29 - Buena Vista
Flight for Life - Denver, Summit, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Durango
Memorial Star - Colorado Springs
Northern Colorado Medevac - Boulder, Greeley, Akron
St. Mary's Careflight - Grand Junction
Care Connect - La Junta
That's 17 Rotor Wing Air Medical Resources in the State of Colorado and one in Cheyenne that flies into Colorado. There are a handful that fly from New Mexico and Utah into Colorado as well.
"I once caught a helicopter THIIIIS BIG."
Clearly, fly fishing.
Which is the green one that is usually sitting next to I-25 near Loveland, Airlink?
Catch and release?
Bet it was just out of gas.
Fixed wing pilots take off and cruise. Rotary wing pilots take off and immediately begin looking for places to land.

TriState Careflight (now owned by AirMethods) flies out of Raton-my older son is a flight medic with the company and is based there. They handle SW Colorado, N New Mexico, E Utah.
