Looking to buy a bass boat this spring. Gotta be a tin boat cause I only have a Tacoma to pull it. Not many dealers here in Co but have looked at Ranger and Lowe boats from Crowley Marine in Denver.
Anybody have any input they?d like to share?

Yeah, buy used. Most boats aren't used enough to justify new and you will save thousands letting someone else upgrade it.
Now is a good time to shop the used market.
If you are willing to drive, look in the midwest.
The two happiest days in a bot owner’s life :
1.) The day he buys it.
2.) The day he sells it.
I grew up fishing in Minnesota. If you want to ever get out on the larger water/reservoirs around here and go after lake trout, troll for walleyes or whatever I would ditch the bass boat and go with a deeper v aluminum hull Lund or similar style boat.
I've thought about getting a boat lately and f I did based on the type of water you see in Colorado I would go with something like this.

Buy used and save a ton of money.
Damn ! That stroke affected more of my cognitive functions than I though though thought.
I bought my used SeaDoo boat from Prescott Valley AZ after looking for the specific model for almost 2 years.
Lots of south end Powel boats in the area. To save sales tax, for which I basically paid none because only the trailer is titled in CO, I paid the dealer $400 to meet me at the AZ NM border and signed it over there.
BOAT = Break Out Another Thousand$
I grew up around the damned things...I have never and will never own one.
I am mostly a walleye / Mack guy. As mentioned above, I like a deep v. I wouldn't go shorter than 16', because of the Colorado wind.
Things I would look for, depending on your price range.
Rod storage
Upgraded electronics with front and drivers seat sonar. I prefer lowrance.
A good electric motor
A live well that doesn't leak.
Near max HP for the rated boat/motor combo.
If buying from a private seller, check the lower unit for water and ask when the impeller was last changed.
Also, if you are willing to drive there are a ton of boats in Minnesota and Wisconsin which translates to a ton of cheap used boats.
Small Boston Whaler. Will not sink. Will retain value if you don't over pay. Light enough to be towed by most US vehicles. It is a tri-hull and is stable when standing up, fighting fish.
I have 17ft Boston Whaler looks like this with Bimini top. Top is nice for getting out of the sun. Link below is for visual idea only.

Surprisingly, not a boating accident intimation...
And RVs.
I don’t know, the operating costs on an aluminum outboard boat are pretty low. Just repack the trailer bearings every year and learn How to change the fluids in the outboard and that thing should go decades with minimal input. Fiberglass I/O ski boats on the other hand..
Unless your a Bass only fisherman, I'd look at a Lowe Deep V.
