Hello all. I'm new to Colorado having just moved here from Az. I was wondering if there are any local AR lower manufacturers here? In Az I couldn't throw a dead cat without hitting one but am hoping to find a shop here. Thanks for the help.

Iron Ridge in Longmont is the only one I know of. I think they specialize in AR-10 lowers and coatings. Ive seen mixed reviews of this buisness.
Tell me about it. There were more shooting ranges, gun shops, gun manufactures than you could shake a stick at down there. My AR is from Jeff over at Arizona Armory. We're not so lucky around here. Phoenix is probably the most conservative city in the country as far as an actual major city goes. Denver...not so much.
Yeah I've noticed that. I'm very irritated with the CCW procedures up here. Only open 3 day's a week from 9-4? WTH, I work for a living. Oh well, there still are more positives of living here than in Phoenix though. Thanks for the info on the AR shop. I'll check them out, otherwise I'll just buy something from a Phoenix shop and transfer it here.
you should be able to use your AZ CCW as proof of training and be allowed to transfer. However there will be a wait up to 90 daysQuote:

I think if you can competently shoot in a match you're qualified to have a CCW for the following reasons. You are held accountable for how you handle a firearm (mess up, you get a warning, mess up again and you are asked not to participate) and most importantly you can SHOOT.Quote:
