I've had interviews like that before. Where right in the middle of the interview you decide, "Screw this. This job sounds terrible."

Interviews are in fact, a two way street.
You should be interviewing the company also.

I once went on an interview where the manager I'd be working for was a huge jerk. When I met the VP I told him I liked the company and the job but couldn't work with that guy. A few months later the VP called me and said they'd fired him and could I come back again and I was with them 5 years.

This past week I've been working on my resume. Changed formats from the chronological to functional, trying to high light the skills that are transferable. Picked up a book at the library on writing resumes and cover letters that's got some good tips and examples. Also been trying to keep it to one page but need to redo my "teknical" resume for those rare jobs I'd qualify for.Quote:

just list degrees and not dates of attainment.
list your last 10 years of jobs or so (without dates)
or just list the relevant experience to that job.
you're trying to get interviewed. they'll figure out you're an old fart when you walk in the door. But they already have something invested in you to interview at that point.
