    Nothing failed. Everyting will "pass" today, since it's the voice vote - unless a republican demands a count; which I don't know why that isn't happening. I suppose there's a reason for it, but I know they can demand a count.

    In any case, today is just a lot of theater and grandstanding and i suppose reinforcement. Monday is when the door finally closes.

    i'll tell ya what. i get the second reading is voice vote, and the roll call is the 3rd. ok fine. but wtf why are the amendments not subject to a roll call. that seems lame

    I agree. Amendments should be subject to roll call. If they're not that's ridiculous.

    And gun violence is not becoming an epidemic. These people make me sick.
