I find it difficult to understand how the Senators are prohibited from calling each other by name when they can talk about the COW. Everyone knows who they're talking about.

My heart hurts to be forced from my home state. I always thought this would be my home, my children as well. To be forced into a position to find work and home elsewhere by people who are not even Coloradans is painful. I know no one in a free state, I truly feel that we (Colorado) were the tipping point.

Sen. Rollie Heath, D-Boulder, asked that HB 1226, a bill to ban concealed weapons on campus, be postponed until May 10, two days after the end of the session. The move effectively killed the bill.
