If his defense team decides to use an insanity plea, the prosecution has a right to have him evaluated by a psychiatrist of their choice to determine the validity of the plea. The judge is ruling that he can be given meds in order to regulate himself in order to be able to be evaluated. If the boy is/was insane at the time of the offense and cannot assist in his defense, then the insanity plea will stand.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

To make everything better, we've legalized marijuana in CO, so you can LITERALLY forget all your troubles.
It is all part of our Safety package for the citizens of CO.

Fuck him. If he wants to plead insanity, let them do whatever. Someone should have shot him that night anyway.

Saw it on the local TV news just a few minutes ago. I understand what OneGuy is saying, but it's still wrong to subdue someone mentally by drugs for the purpose of interviewing/interrogating.
Where do you draw the line? What happens when it's YOU or a family member they're doing this to for a non-murder charge just to be able to get more information? This is a violation of Civil Rights, nothing less. Once the line is crossed even one time, it opens the door to being able to do it for so many more things.
