If music be the food of love, play on - Shakespeare
The fundraiser was a HUGE success!! Final numbers are in. We needed about $3K for instrument repairs, overhauls, and maintenance to get this program back up and running again. That is an insurmountable number for our demographic and socio-economic area.... We netted over $3500. It's a miracle in this small town! The concert was a lot of fun. The Pikes Peak Highlanders are a class act and did really well. My kids performed decently. The silent auction was the biggest money maker. Thank you to all whom donated, etc. Yes, we even had two PMAG's auctioned off and no one in admin batted an eye, lol. It was great.
Now just to get the money to the bank and write a check for the repair guys. This Bear is excited!
Thank you again to those select who donated on here. Thank you, thank you.
Sincerely and with the utmost in respect,
BigBear
