Bloodshot eyes, hands still shaking from leftover adrenaline of an eventful night shift, firmly grasping a newly-poured, sloshing glass of his signature drink - 50/50 vodka and milk on the rocks, casting run-on sentences recklessly in all directions, our hero confidently settles in behind the wheel of his silver machine. He strokes the sinuous lines of her leather interior, and whispers... "I will call you... Selena Gomez." Carefully navigating the turns with the dexterity of a neurosurgeon, he careens gracefully around the track - all the while paying heed to the myriad attractions of the scenic town. He bites down on the cigarette, eyes wild with driven purpose... the finish line edging tantalizingly closer....
Until the cat sneezes, jostling his arm, and wrecking the car anti-climatically near the mall.
Downcast, crestfallen, defeated our hero stumbles off into the sunset and decides it's a far, far better thing he goes now to do.
And goes to sleep for the rest of the day.
