[QUOTE=HBARleatherneck;1042719]to be honest , i look at your safe and think $150 stack-on quality. maybe thats why it hasnt sold.

Nope, mine is NOT the $150 "stack on" quality that you accuse it of being . Kinda amusing that you'd say that with only my photos to be governed by. Oh well, it'll sell eventually - I'm in no hurry.

Someone beat me to it, but Murdoch's off of Santa Fe has good deals on good boxes.

If you were local to the metro area. As it is, I think you safe is probably worth about $150 if the buyer has to travel to get it.

And remember YOU were the one who decided to cross post your for sale item here in the general section. making it fair game.

bottom line... your safe is extremely over priced and you live a long way away. thats why it wont sell. if you dont think so, well keep listing it for that much money and see if you find a sucker to buy it.
Well I do appreciate your taking time to analyze what I had for sale. Guess I'd better promptly remove the ad as I sure do NOT want to attempt to sell something that YOU believe only a sucker would purchase. Again, thanks for your time!

I recently bought a Liberty from Lowes. I got them to take 10% off and free delivery to my house.

Surfing around Craigslist frequently yields some decent prices on safes, just type "gun safe" into the little search box and there's quite a range.

Well HBARleatherneck, I jumped the gun, removed my ad and AGREED with you and that made two (2) of us wrong. I am sure that you did, in fact, attempt to look up my particular safe on the internet but the Treadlock safes are no longer listed and that company was bought out by the Winchester Safe CO if I got my story right, so you could surely not have found any new Treadlock safes with current pricing. What you did compare mine to was the cheapest of the Stackon safes which sells for around $159, a key lock, weighs 64 pounds and holds 8 long guns. My safe cost me $518 and with shipping was $541 - I did locate the receipt. Weighs around 175+ lbs and holds 15 long guns. Is a combination lock. You can easily see what the Stackon safes look like and prices on web site www.northerntool.com. The cheapie that you compared mine to is #23324. I compare mine to #23313 which they are selling for $539. OK, have at it (again).
