    You probably need to swap your modem for higher speeds. If you have a Docsis 2 compatible modem its highest speeds are 24Mbps. If you get a Docsis 3 compatible modem from them your modem would have the capability of higher speeds. Sounds more like an equipment capability here than anything else. Not to mention that you may have speed limitations through your wireless router or other equipment. (Wireless B,G, and N) have different through-put.
