    One of the most sobering sights I've ever seen is the Vietnam Memorial. I didn't realize how big the Memorial is until I saw it. Here's a few pics I snapped when I visited.

    Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

    Thanks for the pictures. I might be headed that way in May, I need to stop by and see this. Three of my uncles served in Vietnam, they have all passed now but they will always be remembered.

    If you visit DC you should definitely visit all the memorials. I would like to go back (I was there for work and didn't have a whole lot of time to sight-see) and revisit the memorials, the National Archives, and the Smithsonian museums.
