I like to believe that there are two sides to every story, and regardless of who actually caused the accident (who knows, what if it went down to a single lane in that direction? What if the angry marine passed in a passing zone?), the marine's behavior is inexcusable and he's lucky he wasn't shot.

I don't think the people inside the cab handled it well either if they continued to follow him closely enough to rear-end him on his third brake-check. The street they were stopped at certainly seemed wide enough to maneuver around him or slow down enough that he had no choice but to go on and away.

The story said the passenger was a wounded Marine paralyzed from the waist down. That explains the cap on the dash; I kept getting distracted by the little scarf thing around the driver's neck thinking there's no way a guy wearing that metrosexual crap is also sporting a Marine camo cap.

I think I've become a better driver by LIGHTYEARS since I started carrying a gun full time. I used to be pretty aggressive, and pulled a lot of stupid shit like following people home, slamming on my brakes. Dumb kid stuff. When I started carrying, I immediately started assessing situations differently, realizing that any path I chose to go down in anger could potentially alter my entire life (and someone else's) for the worse. I'm the Gandhi of driving now.

Ok, Marine's bad behavior is obvious, but there is also this:

The people following him had at least 2 instances to understand this was a driver with a PROBLEM and yet they continued to follow close enough to eventually rear-end this guy on the 3rd time. They need to take some responsibility for that IMO, but no one is going to focus on that much thanks to the Marine totally losing his shit.

That's bullshit. You're driving down the street, some guy keeps cutting you off and brake-checking you. You get into a different lane, he does it again. What are you supposed to do?
