We had some sighting of cats in our neighborhood, a community of about 500 homes, green belts, etc.
The DOW came out and posted some 'if you encounter a cat' signs...look bigger, back away, etc.
Shortly later they removed the signs. Seems the real estate people had enough clout to get the signs removed...made $elling homes more difficult if the prospective buyers are envisioning 'Muffy' being parted out under the swing set in front of the kids.
