The Senate also OK'd a bill that would outlaw the sale, purchase and manufacture in California of semiautomatic rifles that can accommodate detachable magazines. The measure, SB 374 by Steinberg, also would require those who own such weapons to register them with the state.

I was referring to States' rights vs Fed's rights.

Though I personally believe gun registration violates the 2nd Amendment, that has not, to my knowledge, been ruled out yet. NFA anyone?

States don't have any rights when it comes to guns because the second amendment supersedes whatever a state wants to do.

All gun control is unconstitutional, it doesn't matter who enacted it.

Oh man! I don't ever want to go back. They can't stop the drugs and illegals from crossing the southern border, what makes them think that they can stop shipments of ammo from crossing.
