    Default Tanner 6/1 - 6/2

    Did Anyone go?
I went there with kid, my buddy and his kid. I think kids had more fun than we did.
Still expensive relative to any retailers.
I went there to see if they had M&P9 mags, but there were none.

I was walking around with my M1A. Was rather quiet. Plenty of room to walk around, look at things, talk with people, etc.

This one (and last week) were refreshing due to many fewer people and better parking. The ammo is for the most part ridiculously overpriced, so I tended to avoid those dealers. Many firearms have returned to rear-before-panic prices, which is good. Some "hot" firearms like Kel-Tec KSG shotguns or RFB rifles are insane.

I'm wondering if toward the end of next month we will be able to score some serious deals as dealers don't want to be stuck with firearms with more than 15 round magazines after July 1? Sure, they can sell/ship out of state, but that is usually more hassle and expense.

I was talking with one dealer and he thinks mags will sell big at the end of the month show.

I'm sure there will be a ton of last minute buyers. Will be interesting to see what happens to prices. Shows are weird for dealers right now too - there are so many new people and "non gun" people changing the mix. I actually grabbed a couple tables myself for the first time at Loveland over Memorial Day weekend, and could not for the life of me figure out what people were thinking. Stuff that was a great deal and should have sold right away sat there for a long time, yet people were buying stuff that I thought was marked high.

I doubt you'll see a lot of moment on guns with large mags. It's just as easy to pull the mags and sell them off elsewhere - often at higher profit anyway. What will really be interesting is to see whether or not popular guns become more "rare" for a while after July 1. Some distributors are not willing to open up the box and pull the mag, so we may be limited to the CA-type compliant guns. It's one thing if a dealer can receive any gun package, remove the mag and then sell the bare firearm in state - it's another if they can't even get the normal packages in the first place without jumping through hoops.

I expect we will see a lot of CA-compliant and MA-compliant guns showing up after July 1. I just can't bring myself to purchase such retarded packages. The sheeple tho will gobble em up if advertised as "new and improved".

There was a time you could purchase guns with 10 rd mags Only. It's a backdoor way to revitalize the 94AWB with out it being done , federally. For now, come sept it's a new ball game.

Missed you. I was there both full days. Sold two .308 Pmags and the guy with the table sold some body armor. I have more into my AR's than some were selling for and they were plentiful. Looked for an AK but they were ridiculous. There was a Maddi but it was beat, had shit mismatched furniture and an $850 price tag. Lots of overpriced MAK90, and rough SKS'. Leaning towards an Arsenal Milled and the few I saw were +$400 too high.

I got mixed reviews. Some think there may be a few procrastinators, but all the dealers are flush and they'll unload them at cost so they're not stuck with them.

Dealers cannot do this. I got that from several when I asked them directly why they cannot separate the mag and sell the gun alone. There was one guy there that couldn't sell his $649 DMPS rilfes.
