How so? I'm generally curious about its benefits. I've thought about it but I thought it would let in too much cold air if using it by myself. And my wife wouldn't go for sharing it because she knows she'd get the dutch oven treatment.

It can be split to individual bags, in fact, it is packaged as individual bags to begin with. You simply open both bags and zip them together face to face. With her in the same bag, I warm up much faster because she usually lays down earlier than the rest of us (we stay up to "guard" the beer). Allows for extra curricular activities as well. The thing also comes with sheets that you tie into the bag so you dont have to deal with washing the bag itself. It is about the size of a queen bed.
