    Default Magazine bill question

So, just to make sure of something... After the first, can I buy a 15 round magazine, or only 14 and under with 15 and up being bad after the first?

I believe the language states that a magazine having a capacity greater than 15 rounds would be illegal.

I heard 15 round mags that are modified to hold more are illegal too. IE changing base plate to add +2.

Not exactly true...read the injunction. You can buy that mag, but you probably can not add a +2.

What if you bought the 15rnd mag and the +2 before July 1st, but didn't put the +2 on the mag? Could you do it after the 1st? Or would you have a bunch of useless +2 extensions?

I was in Specialty Sports earlier in the week and ask them what there interpretation of the mag law was. They are going to carry all 15 round (and under) mags removable base plate our not.

Of course - it's perfectly legal to extend your 10rd Klintonmags to a safe, sane, legal and responsible 12 rounds. No one would be so crass as to install a +2 on a 15rd mag post-July and make it into an evil baby killing machine...
