Interesting article you linked. Interesting in that the one guy in the video seems to absolutely hate Bitcoins, and the author of the article doesn't seem to understand how they actually work. Are you thinking you could make money on this very short term while people are flocking to see what the big deal is, then get out before everything settles down again?

I understand majority of investments, even those complicated derivatives, to how cds and mbs works . However, I read over 10 articles about bitcoins , and I still do not understand the concept well.
Well, "Shorting" is basically going against the specific investment. Selling the shares do you not have, and cover at lower price. It is bearish move.
Basically, If I short 1000 shares (from etf) of bitcoins at $100, and cover at $40, I made $60/sr.

I am not that familiar with that kind of thing. Is that like relying on trends, or like when the people selling stock bundles were investing against them because they thought they would fail?

A quick update.. we decided to put the fund gained from the last flip to pay down one of the properties where the in laws are renting from us. Then, we'll redo the loan into reverse mortgage under their name. $1500/month payment gone!!!

With the current bids.... I'm over $600 in profit in two months. This all from about a $100 investment.
