I had a huge in depth response typed out, and somehow this POS tapatalk erased it. I may still type it out later (headed to the gym now lol).

Part of the response was good on you Jer, for doing what YOU need to do, to become healthier. I know what works for me, but what works for me, may not work for others. Good luck man, and stay focused!

I'm not an expert but to give you an idea... my plan is to lose 60lbs in 60 days which would get my to 230lbs. At that point, I feel like I could lose the additional 15-20lbs my body would truly need to lose for long-term health of joints and such. So, I'm using this to get the point you're at based on what you're saying. I'm not saying you can't do it but maybe a simple change in diet and exercise would be the better way to go about things. I know if I had 20lbs to lose I wouldn't be doing this but I don't and I clearly have a problem that has manifested into what I am over the last decade or so. That's my unprofessional opinion not knowing any more about your situation though.

Good for you! If it's juicing or not just taking that stand that enough is enough and it's time to change is awesome!

Well, I've given you more to study this morning. lol

Honestly, jump on YouTube and search for juice diet and juice fast and watch the videos. Plenty of people who started blogging day 1 and posting up videos all the way to the end so you get to see the highs, the lows and more importantly the progress. Seeing them do it with your own eyes makes it easier to do it yourself. They also all tend to start eating healthy afterwards and post up videos about their new lifestyle which helps to give you a course of action once it's all done so you don't just go back to what you did before after a few days. It sounds like you're in a similar boat to me and I can tell you that I feel like this has been one of the better decisions I've ever made. Time will tell but I know exactly what you mean about how depressing it is. I'm a very jovial person by nature but no matter how happy I am it's hard to escape that fact that I'm fat. I mean, I'm almost carrying my wife on my back with me everywhere I go. And it's not just where you go but when you sit down it's sort of all around you... organs and all. Just not healthy man.

Thanks man. I really don't want this to seem like I'm saying this is the best idea for everyone and everyone should rush out and do it but for some... I believe it's a means to an end and I feel like I'm sadly now in that group. I feel like I was on the doorstep of some serious health complications if I continued down the path I was on and I decided I didn't want to wait for something bad to happen to force my hand. You don't always get a second chance after all.
I'm not fat, I'm tactically padded.
