One of the things I like about my house is when I get home it is over 80, but I turn on the swamp cooler and it is down to the low 70s with in 30 min. Of course I have a 1K sq ft house and I bought a swamper for 1900 sq ft. I turn it on high and I have to open every window and the sliding door all the way to get enough air flow.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

You need home automation, control the temp from your dumb phone.

Oh man... Polk is hell- I got to spend a little time (1 month) at Benning and hated it since I was there for most of June and outside all day 5 days a week! Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse a year later went to JRTC. That was perhaps the best time to be a night shift intel guy... inside, at night, sleeping during the day in a hooch with A/C blasting. Maybe not going infantry was a blessing? And I did get to do the ring route in a UH-60 in my off time, that was fun since it's not nearly as hot at 40kts 500ft AGL.

You got pilots that went easy on you if you were only pulling 40 knots.

JRTC rules- at least that's how they were in 2008... 25kph strict speed limit for ground vehicles, and 40kts for air.
