I saw that, -1.1M in like 14 years or so... Why do you think that is? Oh yeah, because they created a hostile work environment there so businesses left, therefore so did the employees. Didn't help that unions aren't cheap, and pretty much ran everything in that city. Couldn't agree more that the Detroit City Gov thinks their citizens are just a meal ticket and funding for their liberal pet projects.

Same here- I figured it was only a matter "when" not "if" with Detroit. Anyone care to place bets on who's next? I got $1 on Chicago or Baltimore.

The 1.1M took 60 years, not 14, but they managed to lose about a million in the 40 years between 1967 and 2007. After the 1967 riots, white flight accelerated by a factor of about 3, over decline rates prior to that, with peak loss rates of over 60000 per year in the late 60s.

No surprise that the bonus list showed that all major cities in Commiefornia are on the verge... And also no surprise that Camden is on there, that place is a shithole.

It needs to be reopened as a zombie/post-apocalypse theme park. They need to hurry while zombies are still in fashion.

Just imagine what the left can do with an entire country?

Yep! Take a look at the numbers in this article. 700,000 'citizens', down from millions. Check out the projected loss to the retirement plans, and others. Staggering! Goodbye, America... http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-0...ght-bankruptcy

I bet you could find a nice solid building somewhere in Detroit, and just set up there and be like Will Smith's character in I am Legend.
