Well good for you Urban... besides, women are 10x hotter if they know how to shoot. At least in my book.

"The revolution will not be televised... Instead it will be filmed from multiple angles via cell phone cameras, promptly uploaded to YouTube, Tweeted about, and then shared on Facebook, pending a Wi-Fi connection."
We still want pics to determine if you truly made the right decision.
Probably a good call. Freaking out over a holster is not a good sign. My current girlfriend was on the fence about guns and when she saw one of my AR's for the first time she told me that it made her a little uncomfortable. But by my birthday she bought me a lower, so it is working out great. She still is not a fan of shooting, but she knows I like it and occasionally buys me gun parts and ammo if she finds it on sale somewhere. She asked me the other day if I would teach her how to shoot so that she could go with a bunch of her girlfriends and not be scared. Here is how I handled that:

I'd go with this approach. Let her know you enjoy the sport of shooting. Phrase it carefully, but ask if she's ever shot a gun, and offer to take her on a safe, controlled trip to the range to let her experience it, so she'll be able to understand firearms better. Be very neutral in how you phrase everything. If she flat out refuses, buh-bye. If she accepts, take her, do minimal safety training so you don't overwhelm her, just enough so she can get up to the line and shoot a couple times. Then gauge her reaction after she's done. That will help guide you in the future there grasshopper.

It's amazing to me how many women and minorities are anti-gun... if only they read an accurate history book and realized that gun control was initially used to keep slaves from revolting and women from having any type of authority or say in politics/culture.
Tisk, tisk, tisk.
Wife was anti-gun when we first met, and now she won't leave the house without her favorite .380.
She just won't know until she tries. But kudos to sticking with your guns, so to speak.
Whenever my wife asks me why I never wear pants around the house I simply remind her:

The truth wears NO pants!
