I'll see it just because it is Guillermo Del Torro.

I saw it over here. Not my cup of tea but still a decent popcorn movie. I will probably snag it if someone has it on a hard drive.

Been there, done that! That's how I got all of Deadwood, Robot Chicken, Lost and the Mad Max trilogy. And who said nothing good comes out of deployment?

Heh, there was one plothole I still can't wrap my mind around, but on the whole it was cool.
(And, now that I think of it, one part that is very minor but also something of a strange decision)

I can't believe I saw this TURD of a movie.

So, where did the aliens come from?
    Generic looking monsters.
MILLIONS of PEOPLE being crushed to death so they can battle over land!
That Asian chick who over acts and is annoying.
Horrible acting and a bunch of nobodies except for that guy from Sunny in Philly and Hellboy.
    Just bad all around.
I could not believed I payed to watch a Sci Fi made for TV movie.

Millions of people being crushed to death is just what this nation needs, you complain wayyyy too much. Go back to Shakespeare In love it won an Oscar over saving private Ryan I'm sure you were thrilled with that.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings buddy.
If I offended you and hurt your feelings over this movie then please understand that I could care less about your tender feelings so pull your panties out of the crack of your ass.
If you don't like the fact I did not like the movie then hit play on your copy of What a Girl Wants and go back to jerking off.
    Have a wonderful evening!

good movie. i thought it looked HORRIBLE when i saw previews. literally i saw previews during oblivion and turned to my wife and said oh my god that looks like the worst movie of all time. seriously. but when it came out i said hell with it, its big action which is about the only type of movie i feel theaters are actually worth. i can watch chic flicks and comedies at home. went and actually really enjoyed it. its your typical summer cheese fest action movie. if you expect deep detailed plots you went to the wrong movie, but should have known that from the previews. cinematography was good. all that being said, i likely won't buy it on dvd. the epic action is great on a big screen, underwhelming at home in my opinion. you gotta have more substance to be worth it. definitely recommend a matinee viewing though.
