Question Brass looks like brushed aluminum?!

De-capped, tumbled clean with corn cob media, sized, and tumbled again with walnut media & a dab of Flitz. Usually they come out nice & shiny. Not recently. Looks more like brushed aluminum with a dull matte finish. Guessing maybe it's time to replace the walnut media?

Tough to photograph, but the "normal" case is on top, and the weird finish case is below it:

walnut media does that after CC. i went from from walnut to straight c/cob, let it run for 2-3 hrs.

Run with walnut first, then corncob second. Walnut is more abrasive and will "scrub", corncob is softer and will "polish". Add some NuFinish Car polish to the corncob and let it mix in before you add the brass, and your cases will sparkle like a diamond in a goat's ass.

Just load it and shoot it. It'll be fine.

I only use crushed walnut to clean my brass, just put some NuFinish car polish (saw that trick on this website) in there the other day and my brass came out super shiny in half the time.
