    Once again,, More ?????... Granted I don't know it all.. But,, I'm sure the commies had a three foot drop test also.. And, I haven't seen to many vices mounted higher than 3'.. Even though I believe that under the right circumstances, anything is possible.. A live round hung up in an AK chamber... Can't really say that that is too common in My knowlege..

    It’s sad what happened. I feel sorry for the guy and his family. But personally, I’m not really interested in exactly how this tragic accident happened. Up till now this thread has been full of “..if’s, but’s and how’s”.

    If the gentleman I quoted from that link truly is the friend of the victims brother, and what he says is the truth, then this is to date the closest first hand explanation we have.

    Perhaps the brother was out earlier that day shooting with the deceased? Who knows? Only time will tell if anything will reveal more to this accident.
