The U.S. military hasn't executed anyone since 1961 and is unlikely to break that trend for an officer who called for his own death and throughout the court proceedings failed to put up any kind of defense that would mitigate that.

If we're lucky there will be a suicide.

if they havent executed anyone since 1962, that means he gets the death penalty allright. He will grow old, have multiple masters degrees, cost us zillions and have a nice long gray beard when he dies peacefully in prison.

No kidding... Wouldn't be surprised if he was able to collect a pension and be entitled to a weekly pizza party as well.

haven't had to break rocks, but I'd pick splitting wood over sitting alone in a cell or even being cooped up in a cell block, anyday. Even for no pay.

Undecided whether I want him dead or to live out his life in useless squalor. Can't decide which is worse.

I want him to sit in that cell uselessly as a busted down E-1 in his rusty wheelchair until the moment when he decides life is worth living ... then throw a noose around his neck and drop the floor.
