Since when did we hire then to vote with their conscience. They are merely there to regurgitate what the majority of their constituents want. We dont hire them to be our conscience or out guiding light in the darkness. Some day maybe we can get them to realize they work for us. In todays modern world with almost instant vote tracking and electronic voting I dont see why the people cant have more of a say in what happens in government.

I am tired of them saying they did what they thought was right. I We dont really care what they think, they are merely one vote, just like everyone else.

JMHO, this goes down a dangerous road away from representative republicanism towards simple democracy or worse....

That said, something like the magazines, the energy policy, jessica's law, etc, really should've been put to referendums first.
