    Pretty sure gun control is a dead issue for 2014 now. Except for a reminder why some people here still need to be voted out.

    We shouldn't be asking Democrats why they passed these incremental gun laws, we should be asking why the last time Republicans were in charge they didn't eliminate most gun laws. The answer is that they don't want us to have guns either, they just want it slightly less than Democrats (same as everything else I disagree with our government doing).
    If we had some serious libertarian reps or gun rights independents, that would be great. For now, I'll take this as a step in the right direction.
