9mm AR couple questions

I finally made the drive out to the grasslands and ran a few mags through. I had zero FTF or FTE and the bolt hold open functioned flawlessly. I could not be happier. I ended up getting a CMMG 9mm buffer that weighs in at 5.8 oz and $2.00 in quarters. I was shooting 124gn round nose FMJ on top of 5 grains of Unique and I was putting 33 rounds in a 3" circle at 25 yards. I just used my plinking 9mm rounds for the test and the accuracy was great despite the fact that the ammo itself was never that great. I just built a bunch of it out of pulled bullets and just enough powder to get 1000 FPS and it really surprised me what the 10.5 inch barrel would do with it.

Glad to hear it is up and running. I tried to pick up a 4.5" barrel for mine but the guy wouldn't sell it to me since I lived in CO. I told him there was no law against barrels and he said he had trouble with people in CO being a-holes. By the time I got a hold of a out of state friend the auction was over and haven't seen them since.

Go with ADCO for a 9mm barrel. Great barrels and Great customer service. They have all kinds of lengths to chose from.

That is good to know. I am thinking of jumping on a suppressor one of these days and I want to go shorter than 10.5" before that happens. I will have to shop around a little.

Bumping this back from the dead, any of you with the Glock DDLES lower have any issues? still like it? Thoughts?

I have one of these 7" barrels. Price was right, and comes with a flash hider. Accurate as hell for me, I run it with a cmmg lower and bolt.

Honestly I am impressed as hell with mine. It has had zero and I mean zero FTF, FTE with about 1000 rounds through it. The glock mags fit secure and the whole system is really really tight. I would recommend it 100%. The wait to get one was a little ridiculous, but other than that they are top notch.

Funny, I just got one of those about a month ago from JSE and I cant wait to get out and give it a try. I think that I paid $105 shipped when I bought mine and that is the cheapest I have ever paid for a barrel, but the quality looks really good. I hope the accuracy stands up to my 10.5 barrel which is an absolute tack driver as far as 9mm is concerned.
