Most fryer kits have wimpy burners. http://www.homebrewing.com/equipment...220000-btu.php

Grab a 1/2 bbl keggle with a drain valve welded in and you will be set for the rest of your life. Homebrewers don't mess around when heat is needed, especially when you're boiling 12+ gallons of wort for 1 hour or more for a 10 gallon batch of beer.

Shrimp, crawfish, veggies and crabs shouldn't be boiled together Boiling/ soaking times are different for all.

If the neighbors aren't crying while you're boiling, your water isn't spicy enough.

http://www.kegglebrewing.com/Keggle-...eter_p_87.html They are converted half barrel kegs made into brew kettles. If all you're doing is a few seafood boils each year it probably isn't worth it. I have one from when I was brewing a batch of beer every couple of weeks.
