Default Re: 308 AR - DPMS or Sig???

AddED some new to my DPMS LR308 Oracle. Coming together nicely.

EFFIN-A tunable comp, Magpul A2 fore grip, Ergo pistol grip, Mako GL16 recoil reducing stock, TruGlo 3 color, 3 MOA RDS.

My reasons for these add ons are:

The Ares Armor Effin-A tunable comp is, well, tunable. I can tune this for my AR10 then move it to my Rem700 308 and retune for that gun. Probably won't because my 700 is a tack driver and since its a bolt gun, I won't need quick reacquisition of target like I do for a semi.

Magpul A2 fore grip is a bit shorter than their standard and will allow me to mount a bipod in front of it.

Ergo pistol grip. This is similar to Hogue over molded grip. I like this better than the Hogue because it comes up higher in the back and its more comfortable. It does cost about $5 more than Hogue.

The Mako GL16 stock is a better value IMO than the Magpul PRS, Troy and some others at $100. This thing is not cheap plastic, not for toys or airsoft guns. This is solid, high quality and made for serious shooting. Check it out.

TruGlo tricolor. Yeah, it's not Aimpoint or EOTech. So? For a bit over $100 retail, less on sale I can ring 6" steel all day at 200 yards. The thing is solid, good battery life and has held zero through 200+ rounds. I've had good luck with TruGlo. I had a buddy shoot my LR308 and give me a readout on the TruGlo compared to his $400+ RDS. He gave his pros and cons for his RDS. con - cost over $400. pro - battery lasts longer if you leave it turned on. meh.......

Very. Am a dumbass for letting the 762 go away. The PTOBR is like a cross between the OBR and the PredatAR. Lighter weight with heavy barrel and switchblock. SUB-moa without the 20moa rail. Also has a QD handguard with the ability to swap barrels easily. Going with the 14.5" 7.62. Might be hitting the streets in Aug if lucky.

Well, better late than never. Arrived Tuesday to my doorstep. Was like a kid at Christmas my camera-fu sucks...

    As it arrived in toolbox-

    Assembled-

Swapped out the stock to a CTR with RISR, put on RTS sights, and atlas bipod. Have not had a chance to hit the range to sight in with irons. Trying to close on a house soon so the CQBSS has to wait for the time being... -

They are moving them out now they decided to ship with field grade barrels until they perfect the match grade. Was on order from 5/27/12 and delivered on 10/29/13. Very pleased with the quality and service. Will update when I take her around the block a few times

I cancelled my order. For that much $$$, I'm not waiting that long for something that has no expected delivery date.

I had returned my lower for a refund 2 wks before they made the announcement. Still kept my place in line and they were able to ship my rife directly to me as they still had the lower that I had sent back (which was originally sent to my FFL).
