    Default cologunmarket.com

So I see a bunch of you guys post on cologunmarket.com as well.

What does everyone think about being required to give your name, address, and phone number in order to register to the site?

Years ago, I was a mod over there. The site is of course part of RMGO. It used to be you had to be a paid member of RMGO to use the site.

That being said, most sites now require some kind of registration. In this case. I'm sure Dudley has some reasons for doing it that way. I'm sure your info is safe with Dudley. And I would suspect that he does use it to supplement his mailing list. (Don't know that just guessing.)

I really like what I've seen from RMGO.org so far (and might switch my NRA money to RMGO and GOA instead) it just makes me nervous to have all that info in someone else's hands. Too late though, since I already signed up.

IMHO. I much prefer the format of this site to the other. The threads, rules, etc..

Do you have to give this info, just to "register" at the site, or to become a RMGO member so that you can "post" ads at the site. I have been a member so long I forgot.

Roger, you still have to be a member of RMGO to post there.

The NRA still does a lot of great work getting things like castle doctrines passed. Didn't they just get one passed in Arizona or some state recently?

I know what you mean about the "no compromise" thing though. The NRA's pill is hard to swallow when they flat out ignore Class III issues and use the money you donate them to send you cheap trinkets and junk mail.

Then you're either very naive or in denial about how things work on a national level. I don't necessarily like it, but that's how it is at the present time.

How much do you think RMGO is going to accomplish in DC?

And I seriously can't believe people still use the "NRA sends junk mail" excuse for not being a member. If that's all you got here's a little secret...you can go to the member's area of the NRA website and opt out of almost all mailings.

And some of you need to understand the NRA is strictly a firearms educational and safety organization. That's it.

NRA doesn't do anything politically and they're not allowed to. That's what the NRA/ILA is for. ILA is the lobbying arm of the NRA.

There is no other pro-gun organization that has accomplished anything remotely close to what the NRA has in securing and/or restoring our firearms freedoms. Period.

Personally, I believe the more one becomes involved in the various organizations the better off we'll all be. And, I put my money where my mouth is:
    • Benefactor Life Member NRA
    • Life Member GOA
    • Annual Member RMGO
    • Annual Member JFPO
