Nor should it happen. You would set a dangerous, terrible precedent to ban rights for people you don't agree with.

Yep, its a dangerous path to go on. Right now, we have reached that point where too many like living off the fed, and won't cut the hand off that feeds them. It's not self sustaining, and the liberals discount that as myth and legend when told to refer to history. Unless we have a strong change in attitudes, this country will implode eventually.

Dangerous, perhaps. However how can an entire section of the country, be exempt from drug testing, not have oversight on their entitlement, restricted / limits of EBT card use, to name a few. Yet be accorded more "rights" than those who do work.

They haven't been afforded more rights than those that work.

You know what, you're right. The have been afforded more Privileges. Less Fortunate has become the buzz word, along side "Think of the Children"

Apply for a job, take a UA. Apply for any social program , no UA, nothing. Not matter how long you're on them.

ACA, high premiums, extremely high deductible. MEDICAID, not even close. You want to apply for medicaid, jump through the hoops, meet the criteria. On an entitlement program, fill out the app, you're GTG.

The less fortunate have more accessibility and ease of access to social programs than one who works.

Not all jobs require you to piss in a cup. And even then, that's at the discretion of the company, not the government.

And what would you rather the tax dollars be spent on? Another shitty bottomless spending pit of a state of the art combat vehicle that will never be allowed to be used because it's too expensive to risk?

if churches have any real purpose, that is what they should do
While I agree with you, Religious groups are being forced out of this role, one thing a lot of American's don't realize. The hungry, those with chemical dependence, unwed mothers, emotionally and mentally unstable have had help from many religions for the asking until recently. Another "thanks" to Obamination.

I worked in CIC on a minesweeper during the Cuban Blockade in Oct '62, sonar, radar, crypto.
Our job was to identify and take pics of the Russkie freighters running through the Windward Passage enroute to Havana.
It was really quiet on those hours on watch. Not the usual banter. The comm traffic was non stop.

I never was a big fan of JFK or the family, but as far as I'm concerned he did everything right on those 13 days.
