Down your way its not that big a, deal. However along the front range having avehicle that may or does not pass emissions, is a boat anchor. Ask yourself this. IF i needed a 4x4 would i pay your price or another $1K for a guaranteed 4x4, everything works (within reason) AND pass the smog test.

Advertising is as an OFF ROAD Only it might move...................@ $1200 OBO. I don't like buying other peoples headaches.

PLUS. It's winter, NO ONE wants to work on vehicles, as a hobby, this time of year. Hook up the front diff, then relist it. As you say in the ad, It wouldn't take but a few hours to get it back together.

You seem fairly intelligent. I'm sure you understand that just because you dump a bunch of money into something doesn't necessarily make it worth more.

Sometimes selling something is just a matter of finding the right buyer.

    Best of luck.

I see dents, dings, dirty, means price drop as its damage, and dirty shows very poorly. Pic in a muddy field, bad as well. Green dry field, or the street would be better.

With the parts not installed, for me, it better be worth my time to put that all back in. So if a mech would charge 800 to reinstall everything, Id expect at least that much discount from the price.

Base trouble, youre selling a vehicle to a finite group of people. Not "average joe" but a gearhead. Gearheads know that what youve got will never sell to AJ, so they can sit and wait, and lowball you to death. I know this, because I do it, multiple times a year usually! Bottom line, fix it, get the lights off, clean it, good pics, and youll sell pretty quick. Keep the hella's and get the bumper back on will help tremendously as well.

Just to add something to what the others have said. I recently bought a Jeep using CL, for the first time. The first thing I noticed was all the bad cell phone pics. Too dark, too fuzzy, etc. If you are trying to get me off my ass and come look at your vehicle, I at least want to know what it looks like.

Take the time to put it back together.

    Very accurate statement.

I've built quite a few rigs in my day, my last Cherokee was VERY well equipped, Warn bumper/Winch, Sliders, armor, snorkel, Lockers, etc. etc. Jeep was clean, and a much desirable 2 door, but at the end of the day, I made more by selling the aftermarket items separately, and bringing the Jeep back to a stock configuration. Also many folks like to do the work themselves, add their own parts, and know the work. The folks that don't do their own work, want a nice clean truck. Just my opinion.

I don't like to think about how much I have put into some rides. I did enjoy them though.
