Since she has since retracted her story and requested the Florida AG leave GZ alone, maybe people should realize it's the national media who haven't changed and are back at it, trying to frame him up as the bad guy so they can salvage their reputations from trying to convict him before the trial? If ANYONE should have suspected it was a media frame-up immediately, it should have been shooters aware of the Obama and national media campaigns against guns and and gun rights.

As noted in several of the articles the DA can pursue the case without the cooperation or a recanted statement from the alleged victim. I wonder if the DA will still go after him. I am sure the media wants the DA too and the pressure wil be applied.

I want to make a note here. I think we are all in agreement that Zimmerman did not commit a crime when he shot Martin, maybe Zimmerman was in poor judgement and probably could have made better choices, yet still has a right to defend himself. That being said, have we considered that maybe he really is a dirtbag just not a teenage murdering dirtbag.

Depends on who is pressuring them I would say. Under normal circumstances I think they would drop it and I think it's in their best interest to do what they would normally do, otherwise the backlash would be greater. Just my opinion.

You have 2 parties that were the only witnesses. 1 of them has a single story. The other one that made the original allegation now has 2 stories. She's also on the record for telling GZ that she was pregnant when she wasn't. A trial would be a waste of money.

I wonder if they'll go after Ms. Scheibe for filing a false report?
