Shooting in Summit County wilderness areas?

If he looks at coloradobiathlon.org he can do the real thing instead of pretending in the woods. I have a friend in denver that does biathlon here in co. I will try to get a hold of her to see where she practices.

The colorado biathlon club maintains a range at the eldora nordic center and at the snow mountain ranch ymca of the rockies nordic center.

Which is why I told my buddy that I'd post his question -- I knew someone here would have good info. I don't think he wanted to compete in a real biathlon but wanted to see how it was. Frankly, so would I -- and I have proper target quality .22s -- so maybe I'll have to look into it myself.
