I have several coming for 'research'.

At this point I would recommend my friends to steer clear for awhile.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

That is a bad ass concept though. Pretty tempting for me!

all of those who rush to embrace new technology and social media are begging to be hacked, have their identity stolen, credit card frauded.

so you send your card off with the waiter so he can charge your dinner, he is a scum bag with a credit card duplicator under his shirt, oh guess what..... now he can duplicate all your cards at once.

    no thanks,

The US is so easy to hack. We need credit cards that are actually smart cards with integrated encryption....like most of the rest of the world. The magnetic swipe is too easy to reproduce.

I've thought this every time I'm overseas and the recipient of my outdated CC asked why the U.S. hasn't done it but I've gotten to the point where I simply don't care anymore: if U.S. CC companies want to eat the loss, let 'em.

Wanna hack my account? Have at it, it's on AmEx's dime, not mine, go for it! -And to those that suggest such an attitude affects my interest rates, I pay it off in-full every month, so the CC can eat as much fraud as they want for all I care.

I'm sure the creidt card companies have weighed that option more than once and decided against it after an in-depth cost-benefit analysis. What makes sense to the consumer doesn't always make sense to the companies bottom line.

Why fix it when they can just keep raising fees?
