I understand what you and Ridge are saying about the rifle. It is pretty new and I have been trying to get my newly minted AARP progressive lens wearing eyes to work the iron sights better. It is pretty far forward, but the knob is on the correct side.
I have an M&P 15 too with an Aimpoint and I am still able to BUS for closer distances, but the new glasses...
I am sure I will find the sweet spot in the near future. Then it is my intention to Aimpoint up.![]()
