    Two things:

    1. Definitely better eye candy at Target.
    2. Even my wife would be rolling her eyes at how ridiculously intense this thread as been.

I don't remember the last time I've bought ammo at Wal-Mart either. None of them have anything useful on the shelf when I'm there.

Tar-Jay was where I bought clothes before I found out that Amazon has all that stuff cheaper. Wal-Mart is where I go when I get a craving to watch fat women of dubious immigration status beating their children.

Wal-mart was/is good for 7.5 & 8 bulk shotgun shells for bustin clays or 3Gun matches, especially during the peak of the panic when things were flying off shelves. It was definitely on par with Sportsmans Warehouse for price and availability.

It'd be cool if someone would open a store that ONLY sold made in the U.S.A. Goods. Maybe not quite as large as a Targay or a Wal-Bazzar. I shop everwhere and buy American or at least from countries not out to destroy us. If made in India socks are $6.99 and made in China ones are $2 I buy the Indian ones. Whenever I buy Chinese shit I picture my Great Uncle Allen at the Chosin resevoir in Korea 1950 and the $ I'd be saving doesnt kill me. I'll save it somewhere else.

Because some people have this irrational hate of the free-market, especially as manifested in companies like Sam Walton founded (Sams and Wal-Mart). Sure, they have their practices that drive out the Mom and Pops and trap some manufacturers, but they do have good prices as a result. No self-respecting Liberal/Democrat would shop at a Sams/Wal-Mart even though most of their "voters" do.

Sams is one of the largest corporate contributors to the RNC, Costco to the DNC.

Target was about equal for several years but has shifted to more Liberal candidates: Just one excerpt from an ABC article:

At the national level, Target is broadcasting its support for equal marriage rights with a wedding registry ad featuring two smiling men dressed in suits and bow ties holding hands and touching foreheads.“Be Yourself, Together,” is printed in bold red lettering across the center of the advertisement, which encourages couples to build a registry that is “as unique as the two of you.”
Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder said in a statement that the ad is part of Target’s broader commitment to “diversity and inclusion.”
“At the heart of our company are core values which include Target’s long-standing commitment to create an environment where all of our team members and guests feel welcome, valued and respected,” Snyder said. “We believe our current marketing is consistent with this value.”

    This.

I shop at both. Target hands down has a hotter selection.

"Tar-Jay" is where I would go if/when I wanted to gaze at delusional effete Euro-wannabe self-appointed elitists who sneer at the "commoners" and outdated documents like the Bible and Constitution -- not that everyone who shops there fits the description but you have a MUCH higher population of them at Target and Costco than Wal-Mart or Sam's Club. Hell, the fact they pronounce it "Tar-Jay", even semi-laughingly, shows the airs they put on.
