Attempted Ballot Measure 2014: No CCW on College Campus

I seriously doubt they'll have the enthusiasm to get enough signatures to get this on the ballot ... and if it does I bet it dies a horrible death in the election.

If this actually makes it on the ballot we need to take a long hard look at their organization because there's no reason we shouldn't have a mag ban repeal to vote for next election too.

Big Money is behind this ballot. MAIG, the FRIENDS OF MORSE etc are funding this as rebuttal for the recalls and resignation, here. It's also one of many pushes to get Liberal, anti- CCW sheriffs elected. There will be more money spent in CO for the 14 elections than anywhere else.

This is what I'm afraid of, and anyone that thinks the ballot doesn't have a snowballs chance in passing, could end up sadly mistaken.

The point that needs to be stressed just like the overall CCW issue way back a few years ago is this. They claimed that there would be bloodbaths in the street, did not happen.

Since the bans were overturned how many students have been killed or shot by a CCW? Been over a year now. Just like many things the anti's always scream for the children's safety but as always there reasons are misplaced. Not a matter of keeping their little slut safe it is just a tool to use to bash the second. That and they are afraid of things they know nothing about. Guns bad um,OK.

Bloomberg created a new group that is headquartered in Colorado after the recalls. The gun grabbers really want a western state to fall.

I'd be curious to see statistics or evidence that show lawfully carried concealed handguns are a threat to those on campus. Has there been a rash of shootings or other criminal activity be those carrying concealed that I missed?
