I think many people are only exposed to the negative side of pot. My girlfriend could not function in life without it. The pain she endures from a back injury puts her in tears. Pot helps her function and I would rather people use that than codone or other heavy garbage. Now I am not advocating getting high while shooting. I am just saying that all peaceful Americans deserve to have 2nd Amendment rights free of gov intrusion.

While i do not agree with NYNCO 99.99% of the time. His response was a tad out of line .

I will say mmj has helped some folks who could not function with certain pain levels, OR after chemo. I know 2 folks who did chemo and were vehemently opposed to marijuana , for anything. Till they had been undergoing treatments for a few months. Their opinion and stance changed overnight. Do they condone "casual" use, not at all. Do they support it for LEGIT medical use, yes.

What would you rather see If there was a choice. Continued use of oxycotin or mmj for pain ?

For the record, I know a few people that function very well even though they smoke weed. Sure, I would refuse to work with someone that is high, but what they do outside of work-time is their business. Wow, does this make me a Libertarian?
